Responsibilities

What you will do:

 

  • Works with the accountancy team to collect payroll related data. (payroll hours, time attendance, productivity hours, etc.)
  • Collects, analyzes, reconciliates updates and verifies the veracity and payroll disputes, as well as the benefits
  • Performs quick mathematical reasoning in a quick and accurate way.
  • Performs a variety of accounting duties, such as payroll preparation and salary calculations.
  • Establishes procedures to ensure veracity and maintenance of historical data in order to have a complete evaluation of the payroll information.
  • Performs comparisons of the payroll hours versus staffed hours in Avaya.
  • Prepare a variety of complex reports related to the payroll-based client’s requirements and/or the internal team.
  • Identify and correct data inconsistencies through programmed audits.
  • Implement controls to ensure accuracy of the data and to deliver the reports on time.
  • Creates spread sheets, related forms and templates, summaries and reports.
  • Attends consultations from internal and external teas.
  • Resolves corresponding problems and makes recommendations.
  • Supports data compilation and interprets legal regulations and requirements
  • Follows specifications established by the immediate superior and for the client. 

Qualifications

What skills you will need:

 

  • At least 1 year of experience in similar roles
  • Familiarized with payroll programs and daily payroll activities 
  • SUA and IMSS movements
  • Ability to plan and organize work to deliver on commitments in a timely, orderly, effective and efficient manner.
  • Ability to identify and assess relevant information, issues, and concerns; relate and compare data from different sources, and identify alternative actions. Ability to approach a problem or situation using a logical, systematic, methodical or sequential approach.
  • Knowledge of employee compensation and benefits concepts, principles, and practices including employment terms and conditions relative to compensation and benefits, various compensation programs and trends, rewards and recognition schemes, as well as government-mandated compensation and benefits such as overtime rates, holiday pay, NSD, 13th month, social security, medical insurance, HDMF, leaves, retirement, injury compensation, etc.
